The finely ground powder from the Ayurvedic Amla fruit together with other types of health-giving superfoods is prepared in 100% RAW quality to a maximum temperature of 45 °C. The drink prepared from the ground powder of Ayurvedic herbs or fruits is called "churna" in Ayurveda. The finely ground powder is poured over warm water and drunk with it.
Unlike instant hot drinks, where additives dissolve its contents into a chemical solution, pure mixtures of Amla drinks containing no preservatives or additives never dissolve in water. On the contrary, the most valuable thing the drink contains is this ground mixture of herbs, which needs to be mixed in warm water and then drunk together with the addition of a teaspoon of honey and a few drops of lemon. Honey is used in Ayurveda as a mean for better absorption of herbal effects into the bodily tissues.
Ayurvedic drinks can be taken on their own or added to fruit smoothies. You will find a range of 11 healthy and delicious recipes for refreshing Ayurvedic smoothies in our Home Recipe Booklet.
Ayurvedic Superfood drinks also form the basis of Ayurvedic Immunity Sets, where, combined with herbal elixirs and Ayurvedic fruits, create a simple home therapy for quick immunity boosting and body regeneration.
